Working as a Head of Marketing with Alshaya offers unique challenges and opportunities. Social media is growing across the region and with the development of ecommerce channels and a diverse customer base spread across MENA, this is a challenging and dynamic role where growth and innovation are fundamental.
This opportunity gives you accountable for the development and delivery of your brand’s positioning across the MENA region as well as the opportunity to provide support to our CEE and Russian markets (where applicable). Also within the scope of the role is research and strategic planning, target setting, PR, events and social media activity. As the head of the department you will bring together the host brand, ecommerce, customer service, CRM and brand teams across multiple countries to achieve your objectives.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
Communicate with divisional leaders, Category and Ops to deliver Marketing programmes as required.Liaise with internal and external support teams to deliver marketing programmes in a timely and efficient manner and within budget.Manage external relationships including all media and third party suppliers to ensure events are carried out efficiently.Guide supporting team to deliver Marketing programmes, deliver feedback on budgets according to Business Plans and make recommendations.Support Marketing and Operation to ensure that the brand building events, sales campaigns and various media advertisings are delivered with Marketing expertise, creativity, quality standards and optimal cost.Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and ensure adherence to agreed procedures, cost agreements and service levels.Develop and Maintain weekly/monthly and yearly Marketing calendars.Manage media booking/ assessment, rate negotiations and recommendation of all new media opportunities, creative briefs, POSM Production, radio commercials production, Arabization development and quality control, monitoring and reporting of competitive activity, conceives and implements appropriate promotional activity.Support corporate marketing activities i.e. Alshaya web site, gift vouchers and loyalty programmes, corporate campaigns, commercial strategic alliances.
