Business Strategy:
• Acts as a strategic partner, by designing efficient HR practices in line with the overall company’s strategy
• Supports current and future business needs through the development of the HR function, in line with modern market trends
• Ensures that the departmental objectives of all the departments of the company are in line with the company strategy
Manpower Planning & Budgeting & Recruitment:
• Develops and manages the manpower plans & budgets in line with the organizational priorities and business plans
• Plans, develops and implements Recruitment Policy & Procedures of the Company
• Works closely with the departments heads, to prepare the annual manpower plan in timely manner
• Ensures that the recruitment team is using the best method to source candidates, and keeps records of potential CVs, and maintains a recruitment tracker
• Responsible to ensure that the recruitment policy & procedures are followed and adhered to.
• Supports the recruitment function, by screening, shortlisting, and interviewing potential candidates.
• Provides professional support and advices on recruitment to line and departmental managers, and advice managers on best practice recruitment and selection
• Coordinates in implementing various Kuwaitization programs to increase percentage of Kuwaitis
• Plans and take actions to recruit/exit employees to ensure Automak achieves Kuwaitization targets
Employee Relations:
• Oversees the employee relations function and ensures that the employee relation team is delivering the best service and performing efficiently
• Supports the employee relations team with delivering genuine ideas to employee retention and employee engagement programs
• Undertakes Employee engagement programs and contributes in employee retention
• Oversees employee relations to ensure a highly effective workforce capable of achieving business goals and objectives while maintaining high ethical standards and legal compliance

Organization Development:
• Plans and develops the departmental business plan for the financial year
• Develops and monitors overall HR practices, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Reviews the existing HR Policies & Procedures, HR forms, Employee Handbook, Orientation Programs, JDs, workflows and redesigns processes
• Acts as an advisor and interpret HR policy and procedures to ensure these are understood and complied with by all levels of employees
• Conducts Job analysis program for all defined roles in the organization
• Develops and monitors Job Families and competencies with weightage for each job family
• Reviews current automated HR functional processes to improve workflow and recommend new ideas based on expertise and knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:
• Reviews, designs, implements and manages salary classification
• Develops compensation and benefits strategies, policies and procedures, salary scales and pool of financial and non-financial benefit programs and monitors their effectiveness
• Conducts analysis of compensation and benefits within the company
• Plans and develops total reward strategies, policies, procedures and benefits programs
• Plans and monitors implementations bonus, commission and incentive schemes
Performance Management System
• Plans and develops annual performance plan to conduct PMS analysis
• Reviews the performance management cycle, goal setting and planning, assessment process, performance development plans and implementation actions across all departments
• Ensures that KPIs in line with business objectives, compares it with relevant JDs responsibilities and recommends justifications
• Reviews along with OD Team Leader, the simulations, what if scenarios and cost related to Performance Management Cycles such as salary adjustment, merit increases, changes in salary structures and new benefits programs
Learning & Development:
• Oversees the learning and development function, and ensures that the company is dealing with the best training providers
• Ensures that the learning and development team is up to the expected level in delivering soft skills training, and utilizing the training time efficiently
• Ensures that the training needs analysis is performed based on the annual performance evaluation analysis
• Ensures that the future training needs of the company is considered with the yearly training plan
Team Focus and development:
• Oversees the functional activities of subordinates and ensures the effectiveness of job execution
• Evaluates staff, train and coach them to meet the expectations of the company
