SERVICE MANAGER – Branded Cars – SOS HR Solutions
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum revenue and profitability through the
sale of labour, parts and materials
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention
Help Retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control
Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
Creating a work environment that promotes teamwork and cooperation; where department
personnel can prosper; find rewards in their efforts; and, be continuously motivated and
challenged to improve their performance.
Creating and implementing sales and marketing plans that will assure the department is;
aggressively seeking new customers and markets; achieving its full sales and profit potential;
and, fulfilling its obligations under the terms of its Sales and Service Agreements for superior
representation and total customer satisfaction.
Implementing and maintaining job loading and quality control systems that will assure the
department is operating at maximum levels of productivity and efficiency.
Directing the daily activities of the department; assisting personnel with establishing their
income and training objectives; and, continuously monitoring and evaluating their progress
toward achieving these goals
Assuring that the dealership is in full compliance with all procedures, policies.
To ensure customer satisfaction levels are achieved along with achieving budget.
Staffing the department with individuals, who are competent, trustworthy, adequately trained
for their positions, and motivated to help Porsche achieve its goals and objectives.
Liaise with customers regarding complaints and technical issues.
Oversee the warranty processes.
Monitor all KPI’s and implement changes where required.
Assist with parts issues when appropriate.
Assisting the Dealer/General Manager with the development and maintenance of
relationships and alliances with manufacturers, industry associations, suppliers, and vendors
that promote the goodwill of the company and serve its interests best.
Assisting the Sales Manager with the implementation of the policies, procedures, and
processes necessary to being recognized for superior customer satisfaction.
Developing annual business plans and expense budgets for the department; establishing
monthly sales and profit objectives; and, conducting the affairs of the department in a fashion
conducive to achieving its goals for sales, profits, customer loyalty, and maximizing the
return on the owners’ investment.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
